ROAM
Product
UI/UX Design & Brand Identity for ROAM, a new marketplace for the metaverse putting creators first. ROAM is a place for artists to share, sell, and protect their 3D assets and models.

The Problem
ROAM is a marketplace built specifically for 3D asset creators working in VR and the metaverse, a place to upload, showcase, and sell work with real protection against people just ripping it off.
Right now, most 3D creators are stuck selling through generalist platforms like Gumroad or just sending files over Discord, neither built for 3D work or for protecting it. ROAM is 3D-only, with DRM and watermarking built specifically for that file type, so creators keep control of their work and buyers can trust what they’re paying for is the real thing.
I owned brand strategy, visual identity, and the web design end to end, making sure the way the platform looked matched what it was actually trying to do: give creators a secure place to sell work and get paid for it.
The Brand
The brand started with the ‘://’ from a URL, the piece of the internet’s own syntax that nobody thinks about, reworked as a symbol of connection for a web3 audience. From there I kept the aesthetic sleek and technical, closer to what a digital artist or developer would actually want to look at than a typical marketplace.

The Website
Uploading and browsing were the two flows I cared about most. Search and filtering are tuned to how 3D assets actually get described, polycount, file format, rigging, not generic tags, and creator profiles double as portfolios so reputation builds over time instead of resetting with every listing.
